The most common claims are injuries and fatalities suffered in automobile accidents. We also defend individuals and commercial entities in premises liability and construction accident cases. Our goal in each property and casualty case is to undertake pointed discovery in order to attempt to resolve the case short of incurring the expense and uncertainty associated with a jury trial. However, sometimes cases do not settle. In that event, our trial attorneys, who have together tried many cases to juries, represent clients through verdict and, if necessary, appeal.

First Party Insurance Defense (Including Bad Faith Claims)

As a result of having defended numerous such claims, we have compiled materials that we use to help our clients identify and avoid the pitfalls that could lead to such allegations. We also counsel insurance carriers on matters of coverage, claims handling, and policy modifications to reflect changing law, to decrease ambiguity, and to improve clarity. Our lawyers have successfully defended many first party cases throughout the United States, including trials in Indiana, Illinois, Nevada, Wyoming, Texas, and Tennessee.
